Who We Are...

Welcome to our website! The Henrietta Democratic Committee is under the purview of the Monroe County Democratic Committee. It is made up of Henrietta residents who are registered Democrats looking to improve governance in our town.

Committee members help with party-related activities including: issue development, organizing events, screening candidates, working on campaigns, registering voters, getting out the vote, fundraising, and sometimes they decide to run for office!

We are always looking to recruit new members and candidates. Please fill out the "Getting Involved" form here if you would like more information or want to volunteer. The HDC is committed to our community and is guided by the following principles:

Health, Environment, and Safety

• We will work to maintain a safe,
   refreshing environment with a low
   crime rate, sensible economic
   development, and generous green
   space.

Community

• We believe in a community center
   offering recreational activities for all
   town residents. We believe that all
   residents, regardless of age or
   disability, should have adequate
   access to all public venues.

Local Governance

• We believe in honest, democratic
   government. Municipal choices should
   reflect a decision-making process that
   is fair, balanced, constructive, and
   transparent to the public through
   print and television media.

Next HDC Meeting
The next meeting of the Henrietta Democratic Committee is January 27. NYS Assemblyman and Monroe County Democratic Committee Chairman Joe Morelle will be attending.

The agenda will include a discussion of the governance of the Rochester City School District. Please join us!

The Henrietta Democratic Committee monthly meeting is now the 4th WEDNESDAY of every month from 7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our NEW meeting place is RIT Barnes and Noble Bookstore, 100 Park Point Drive, Henrietta, NY.

Future meeting dates are February 17 (3rd Wednesday of February), March 24, April 28, May 26 and June 23.
